What is Echo?
Echo brings back one forgotten photo from your own library every morning, and gives you a quiet minute with it. No feed, no scrolling, nobody else's photos.
Do my photos leave my iPhone?
No. Echo reads your photo library on the device to choose a memory, and nothing is uploaded. We do not hold copies of your photos.
Do I need an account?
No. Echo has no accounts and no sign-in. Your journal lives on your iPhone.
How much does Echo cost?
Echo is free. Echo Plus is $1.99 a month or $14.99 a year, both starting with 7 days free, and there is a $39.99 lifetime option.
What languages does Echo speak?
88. Echo follows the language your iPhone is already set to, including right-to-left languages.
Why does Echo ask for the microphone?
Only so you can record a short voice note about a memory. The audio is saved on your device and is never uploaded. If you never record one, you can decline the permission and Echo still works.
Can I get my journal out of Echo?
Yes. Plus can export your whole journal as a printable PDF memory book, so what you wrote is yours to keep outside the app.
How do I delete everything?
From Echo Settings you can clear the memory caches or delete your entire Garden permanently. Removing the app deletes all of its local data at once.
