What went wrong
Echo tries to say plainly what happened. If you hit something that is not here, tell us and we will add it.
Buying and restoring
offline- You're offline.
Echo could not reach the App Store to load the plans. Connect to the internet and open the plans again. You have not been charged. store-unavailable- Store unavailable.
The App Store did not answer. This is usually brief. Wait a moment and try again; your card was not charged. purchase-failed- The purchase couldn't be completed.
You have not been charged. Check your Apple account payment method, then try again. If it keeps failing, the problem is on Apple's side and their support can see more than we can. nothing-to-restore- Nothing to restore.
Restore looks for purchases made with the Apple account signed in on this device. Make sure it is the same account you bought with.
Recap videos and the memory book
no-memories- There is nothing to make yet.
A recap or a memory book needs saved memories to draw from. Save a few first, then try again. render-failed- The video could not be rendered.
Rendering happens on your device and needs free space and a moment without interruption. Free some storage, keep Echo open, and start it again. write-failed- The file could not be written.
Your iPhone could not save the finished file, almost always because storage is full. Free some space and try again. cancelled- Cancelled.
The render stopped because it was cancelled or Echo was closed mid-way. Nothing was saved and nothing was lost; start it again when you have a minute.
Sharing and saving
destination-unavailable- That app isn't available to share to.
The app you picked is not installed, or it refused the hand-off. Install it, or use the standard share sheet and choose another destination. photo-save-denied- Echo can't save to your photo library.
Saving needs permission to add photos. Open iOS Settings, select Echo, and allow adding to Photos.
