Accessibility
Everyone deserves a quiet, safe place for their memories. Echo is built on Apple's own accessibility features rather than its own imitation of them, so whatever you have already set up on your iPhone carries into the app.
What Echo supports
- VoiceOver — controls carry labels and hints, so the screen can be explored and used by speech.
- Dynamic Type — raise the text size in iOS and Echo scales with it.
- Reduce Motion — turn it on and Echo's transitions settle down.
- Voice Control — navigate and tap by voice.
- A dark interface by default, to reduce eye strain.
- Meaning is never carried by colour alone; icons and text carry it too.
Languages and direction
Echo is localised into 88 languages and follows whichever one your iPhone is set to, including right-to-left languages, where the whole layout mirrors rather than just the text.
Where we fall short
We would rather tell you than claim to be finished. If something in Echo is hard or impossible for you to use, that is a bug to us and we want to hear about it — tell us what you were trying to do and which assistive feature you use.
Write to us and we will treat it as a bug: support@iammara.com.
