Aghoo Terms of Use

About Aghoo
Aghoo is an experimental baby-cry cue assistant for parents and caregivers. Apple SoundAnalysis first supplies baby-cry sound-category evidence; Aghoo then applies local acoustic heuristics and may present a possible feeding, sleep, comfort, tummy, high-intensity, or unclear cue. These probabilistic prompts are informational assistance only.
Not Medical Advice
Aghoo is not a medical device, does not diagnose medical conditions, and does not replace professional medical advice. If you are concerned about your baby's health, breathing, fever, unusual crying, feeding, or behavior, contact a qualified clinician or emergency services.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Aghoo offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscription options. Both unlock the same Pro entitlement; only the billing period differs. Purchases are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system, and RevenueCat is used to verify products, purchases, restores, and subscription entitlement. Prices are the localized prices displayed by Apple for your storefront.
Renewals and Management
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Apple charges your account and manages renewal, cancellation, billing, and refunds. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Prices and availability may vary by country or region.
Free and Premium Access
Free access includes one delivered successful possible-cue check per week. Unclear results, no-result sessions, and failures do not use that free check. Pro subscribers receive unlimited checks plus experimental signal observations and a caregiver checklist. These observations are not calibrated confidence, medical advice, or proof of a cry's cause.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, use Apple's refund process: reportaproblem.apple.com
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
No Guarantee
Aghoo cannot determine the true reason a baby is crying. Sound detection and possible-cue heuristics can produce false positives, false negatives, unclear results, or suggestions that do not match the baby's needs. Always check the baby directly and use caregiver judgment. Contact a qualified clinician or local emergency service when concerned.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Aghoo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
